I had to cut the wires and figure that I could use them for myself. It is cheaper to buy the plugs and wires and put it together yourself, rather than to buy the complete wires at a store.WARNING: In order to be able to fix wires using this connector, you will need an RJ-45 wire crimper. This is the first time that I had to use this these RJ-45 plugs. I bought these RJ-45 connectors to fix the wires and they worked perfectly. It is a tool that crimps the connector to the wire. My grandmother moved in to a new house with cat-5 cable going through most of the rooms. She had asked me to removed the cables since she did not need them.
